The Stargazer Gala is the Maria Mitchell Association’s largest annual fundraising event, supporting year-round programming and the summer internship program I was fortunate to be part of. This year’s Jimmy Buffett-themed event, focused on Land, Sea, and Sky, was planned by LoLo Event Designs. As an intern, I assisted with preparations, guest management, and overall event coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Silent Auction: Designed webpage, listings, and event/online collateral.
- Live Auction: Organized bidders, managed pledges, and assisted with donor follow-ups.
- Decor Procurement: Sourced and refinished themed decorations and furniture.
