325 Main - Coffee Shop Concept Design

During my internship with the 325 Main Development Project in Downtown Lexington, I was tasked with designing the basic concept and spatial layout of a planned coffee shop. I was provided with the foundational vision for the shop, along with guidance on the desired aesthetic and atmosphere of the adjacent lobby, which would directly connect to the space. My task involved selecting appropriate furniture, lighting, wall coverings, and finishes to align with the overall branding and ambiance. I also considered flow, functionality, and spatial organization to support day-to-day operations and contribute to long-term profitability. The final concept aimed to create a cohesive, inviting environment that met both design and business objectives.
